Blue is Dolphin’s latest. It is a brand-new browser-based web application of all core Dolphin software. Access and manage your patient and practice information from any device, any operating system. No installation or plugins required and absolutely no on-site server needed. Blue can beautifully accommodate all sized practices, including those with multiple practitioners and locations.
Blue is currently designed for orthodontic specialty dental practices, with features for pediatric dental and oral maxillofacial specialty practice features to be added in the imminent future.
Conceived, built, and designed from the ground up, Blue works on all computing platforms and runs on all devices such as PCs, Macs, tablets and smart phones. You run the very latest version of Blue every time you login, and all data backups are done automatically with an unlimited amount of storage capacity. And, you can use Blue almost anywhere at any time.
Unlike most web-based or Cloud-based practice management systems currently available, all privacy compliance measures have been addressed in Blue’s design, allowing practices to easily keep their PHI (Protected Health Information) and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) secure, and stay compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996). Further, strict privacy compliance and data security are designed and implemented based on Dolphin's parent organization, the publicly traded Patterson Companies.
Like all Dolphin Imaging software, Blue is, by definition, a Class II medical device. Official FDA certification is currently in process.
