Dear Dolphin customers:
As we continue to test compatibility of all Dolphin software with the newest Microsoft release Windows 8, we have learned that the Dolphin Management Windows 8 Dolphin Document Organizer (DDO) print driver installer has intermittent installation issues. We’re working closely with the manufacturer on this issue, but until it is resolved, we don’t recommend upgrading to Windows 8.
As a Microsoft Gold Partner, we’ve been testing Windows 8 with the different Dolphin software products and find that Windows 8 is faster and actually uses *less* memory than Windows 7. So, aside from the issue mentioned above, Dolphin Imaging, Management and Aquarium software run very well under Windows 8.
We will post updates as we learn more about the progress of the above compatibility issue. In the meantime, please ensure that all 3rd party integrations are Windows 8 compatible.
