In Memoriam Viren Patel
May 29, 1957 – September 8, 2010

Chatsworth, CA, September 2010—The Dolphin family lost a dear friend and inspiration last week with the untimely passing of Dr. Viren Patel, orthodontist in Cardiff, Wales.

One of the first Dolphin customers in the UK, Dr. Patel was known internationally as a progressive orthodontist who strived for growth in his personal and professional life. He was highly respected by the Dolphin community for his insight into orthodontic practice management, and his successful team-building philosophies. He was invited many times—by popular demand—to the annual Dolphin Meetings, where he drew record crowds and earned standing ovations for his informative, inspirational, and lively presentations.

He was one of Chester’s best friends, and loved by all Dolphin team members. All who knew Dr. Patel were affected by his charisma, generosity, immense kindness, and sense of humor. It was impossible to be with Viren and not smile.

Viren leaves behind his wife Clare, his daughters Rachel, Jessica and Saskia, and his son Ben, who all loved him very much.

We here at Dolphin will miss him forever, for his contributions to our team and our company—and to the orthodontic profession.
