Non-profit Organization “Smiles Change Lives” thanks Dolphin

Boston MA, May, 2009—At the annual AAO session in Boston, Dolphin received an unexpected token of appreciation from the non-profit organization, Smiles Change Lives (SCL), which provides essential orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families. In an impromptu ceremony at the Dolphin booth, SCL’s chief operating officer LeAnn Smith presented Dolphin with an originally authored book especially for Dolphin. Titled “The Dolphin’s Tale,” the book tells the story of a struggling non-profit organization saved by the generous donation of Dolphin software.

“I have had the pleasure of working with the team at SCL while training them on the Dolphin software. I am truly inspired by their hard work, dedication and passion,” says Phyllis Leeper, Dolphin trainer who also donated her time to train the SCL staff in Kansas City. “They touch the lives of so many people and provide orthodontic care to individuals who would never have the opportunity of a beautiful smile. It has been a pleasure to work with SCL."

Dolphin has an active donation program whereby selected products are donated to selected charitable and educational programs. The software programs donated to Smiles Change Lives include both Dolphin Management and Imaging. “You now have some huge Dolphin fans in Kansas City!” says Andrea Umbreit, marketing coordinator at Smiles Change Lives.
