Dr. Bill Arnett receives 1st Visiting Professor title at Clinica Alemana


Dr. Arnett lectures to members of the Chilean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial  Surgeons and the Chilean Association of Orthodontists at Clinica Alemana in  Santiago, Chile.

Santiago, Chile, December 9, 2008 - Dr. G. William Arnett, founder of the Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery in Santa Barbara, California, was recently bestowed the title of  1st Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Medicine at the prestigious Clinica Alemana-Universidad del Desarrollo¹ in Santiago, Chile. Making history as the first person of non-Chilean descent to receive such an honor, Dr. Arnett also presented a one-day joint lecture with Dr. Julio Cifuentes² to faculty, staff and private practice surgeons and orthodontists at the world-renowned university, hospital, and medical center. The longtime colleagues presented on Sleep Apnea Correction, Facial Planning and Control of Idiopathic Condylar Resorption. Dr. Arnett is author of the Arnett/Gunson FAB Analyses, a recent addition the Dolphin’s Legend Series of software modules.

Also present at the ceremonies were Dolphin’s Chester Wang and Otto Colette; Dr. David Way³ (Fort Collins, CO) and Dolphin friend Isabel Carrasco (Santiago, Chile). After the festivities concluded, the group went on an excursion to Patagonia, where they celebrated Dr. Arnett’s new title while interfacing with spectacular landscape.
