Access Dolphin from your iPhone

Boston MA, April, 2009—A soon-to-be-released Dolphin Mobile application will enable Dolphin users to access practice information from their iPhone. “This new application means that all patient info, including images, ceph tracings and scheduling information, can be carried in your pocket,” says Chester Wang, Dolphin’s director. “This convenience adds immeasurable value to the entire Dolphin product line.”

Following is a quick FAQ on Dolphin Mobile with one of its lead developers, Dewitt Blankenship:

How does it work?
Dolphin Mobile is a mobile device application which allows access to key information from Dolphin Imaging and Management, including patient demographics and images, appointment history and scheduling, treatment card, as well as financials. It will also allow lookup of Doctor/Dentist referrals with associated statistics and info.

Will I be able to interact with my Dolphin program/data—or just look at it?
The initial version will allow for review access (read-only). More capabilities will be available in future versions.

How is this going to make my life better than ever?
From any iPhone (and most likely iTouch with broadband access) device, you’ll have fingertip access to patient, treatment, scheduling and referrals. Dolphin Mobile is being designed especially for the iPhone platform and thus will take advantage of the simple, easy-to-use interface and features that iPhone users love.

The new Dolphin Mobile application will be demoed at the upcoming AAO Session in Boston on May 2. Visit us at Booth 2019/2119 to be the first to see DoMo in action!
