With the release Dolphin Management 4.0, the development team would like to give a heads-up regarding new Minimum Specifications:

The program will support the following systems:
• Windows Server 2003 or higher;
• Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2;
• Windows Vista Business, Enterprise and Ultimate; and
• It will be the last version to support Microsoft SQL 2000 and MSDE 2000. Please plan to upgrade sometime in the next year if you have either of these products (note that current upgrade from MSDE 2000 is the free SQL 2005 Express Edition

It will no longer support:
• Windows Server 2000; and
• Windows Server 2000 Professional

It will require the installation of:
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5; and
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0

Our legacy is to maintain compatibility with Microsoft products and platforms even after Microsoft’s own mainstream support for those products has ended, and we will continue to do that whenever possible. However, we also aggressively take advantage of beneficial technologies as they become available, which means that sometimes we cannot maintain compatibility with older platforms. We understand that there are costs associated with making these upgrades to your system, and we would like to stress that there are many advantages to these newer Microsoft technologies that you will enjoy beyond your Dolphin Management experience.
