Software Trainer (Ref#ST0121)

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced software trainer based on the East Coast. The position involves travel to dental specialty practices to train doctors and office staff on newly purchased Dolphin software. (Training sessions are between 1 and 4 days in duration.) In the event of scheduling conflicts, travel outside regional boundaries may be required. Attendance at trade shows and other industry events is expected.

• Setup & testing equipment: Generally, it takes place the afternoon or evening before training to ensure that there is no down time during the training session.
• Training: Instruct and train customers (doctors and their staff) on how to best use Dolphin products.
• Product presentation: Effectively present the benefits of Dolphin product to an audience at events, i.e., trade shows, study club meetings, etc.
• Travel requirements: Frequent travel domestically; some international travel; follow company travel guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Presentable appearance: Business attire
• Experience in presentating in front of an audience; dynamic speaker
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Working and technical knowledge of Microsoft Word and Windows
• Working and technical knowledge of computers
• Organized, detailed and results-oriented
• Ability to travel frequently
• Knowledge of the Dolphin Imaging and Management program preferred
