While your practice is ultimately responsible for complying with HIPAA regulations, Dolphin continues to assist you by making the process easier than ever. Here are just some of the new features to make your practice information more secure:

SECURED LOGIN.
You can explicitly mandate each user to login to Dolphin by entering an assigned unique ID and password (Premium DI 9 or later; all DM versions).

USER RIGHTS AND ACTIVITIES TRACKING.
You can assign (and require) specific access rights to use any aspect of the Dolphin program and data. For example, you can grant access to more experienced staff to trace and modify cephalometric tracings, or make financial adjustments. You can also obtain a log of the Dolphin operations performed on your network. A constant log is kept on who did what operations and when, and is available only to those who are authorized (Premium DI 10, any DM).

FINGER SCAN LOGIN.
Further mandate finger scans for every employee to login into the system. This is also an easy way to track working hours (using TimeClock option) and to secure access to your system.
