 DUS Multiple Enrollment Information

This page provides additional, specialized information regarding in the Dolphin Update Service “DUS”. You should read and understand the main DUS information prior to reading this page. The information on this page is for doctors who have an office patient database plus a separate travelling laptop or home computer database, or for university programs where each resident has their own separate laptop patient database.

If you are a doctor who has an office patient database plus a separate travelling laptop database or separate home computer databse, please use your usual practice info and Dolphin customer account number to enroll your office’s database in DUS. Then, write to supportDUS@dolphinimaging.com, requesting a “travelling laptop” DUS enrollment. The DUS team will create an add’l enrollment record for you, and email it to you. Use that enrollment information on your travelling laptop.

If you are at a University program where all the residents share one central Dolphin patient database, you don’t need to do anything special. You can simply follow the instructions at the main DUS page. However, if you are at a University program where each resident has their own laptop with their own Dolphin patient database, then you must write to supportDUS@dolphinimaging.com, provide your name, graduation dates, and email address. The DUS team will then create and email custom DUS enrollment record for you. Each resident should install Dolphin on their laptop; download and install DUS from the main DUS page; then enroll their copy of DUS using their own personal enrollment record, so that their laptop will pull down and install future Dolphin software updates. Each subsequent year, as final-year residents graduate, and new residents matriculate, the dept head or MIS staffer will need to submit an updated list to supportDUS@dolphinimaging.com.
